COVINGTON – Justin C. Landry, Stirling Properties’ vice president of finance and capital markets, has been awarded the prestigious CRE credential by the Counselors of Real Estate, an international group of high profile real estate practitioners who provide expert advisory services to clients on complex real property and land-related matters.
Landry specializes in finance and capital markets, where his focus has been on evaluating the economic feasibility of new development and acquisition opportunities for Stirling Properties. Once the decision is reached to move forward with a development or acquisition, Landry is responsible for raising capital to source the project and overseeing financial and due diligence responsibilities through the close of transaction. He places all interim and permanent financing for Stirling’s portfolio of properties. Since 2007, Landry has placed over $1.7 billion of interim and permanent financings. Additionally, over the course of his career, he has underwritten over $5 billion in actual and potential development and acquisition projects.
Membership in the Counselors of Real Estate is selective and is extended by invitation only, attesting to the practitioner’s expertise and proven competence in his or her chosen area of real estate. Once invited to membership, counselors must adhere to a strict code of ethics and standards of professional practice. Fewer than 1100 real estate professionals currently hold the CRE credential.
