NEW ORLEANS– New Orleans-based law firm Stone Pigman Walther Wittmann has announced Susan Longo as the firm’s new chief business development officer. Longo brings to the firm more than 25 years of marketing and business development experience in the legal industry.
“Susan is an excellent addition to our team here at Stone Pigman,” said Michael Walshe, chair of Stone Pigman’s management committee. “She is an accomplished leader in her field and brings with her a wealth of knowledge, experience and unmatched talent in legal business development. We’re excited about the incredible expertise she will bring to our firm and our efforts along the Gulf Coast and beyond.”
In her new role, Longo will oversee establishing and implementing business development and marketing strategies, as well as cultivating new and existing client relationships.

Longo joins Stone Pigman with a significant background in law firms of similar size and scope across the Southern region. She previously led the marketing and business development functions at Arnall, Golden, Gregory LLP and Smith; Gambrell & Russell LLP in Atlanta; as well as Burr & Forman LLP in Birmingham, Ala. Most recently, she served as president of her own consultancy, Business Development for Lawyers, where she worked with managing partners, executive committees, client teams and practice group leaders to evaluate client mix and value, identify new business opportunities and spearhead client service initiatives.
Longo received her Bachelor of Arts in marketing from the University of Florida and her Master of Business Administration in marketing from Georgia State University.
